Magic mushrooms of different strains produce the same chemicals - psilocybin and psilocyn in different quantities. The goal is to quickly produce the most potent magic mushrooms. Consider the following when choosing a strain: Culture and mycelium growth speed, mushroom size, yield, potency and resistance to contamination. Some strains are very potent but the yield is low while some strains grow fast but contaminate easily. Here are some reviews of various strains:
Luminous Lucies is quick to grow in liquid culture with spore water. They cultivate quickly during mycelium growth and are resistant to contamination. They fruit quickly as well. But the yield is very small. The fruits are 1-2" inches max and the stems are tiny. They are quite potent but you'll need a lot of them. It is said this strain is bioluminescent but we haven't seen it.
Air Force 1 is very slow to cultivate during mycelium growth. This might be due to the substrate mixture or environmental factors, but slow mycelium growth is not good to the overall goal of producing magic mushrooms. We will report more soon.
Entheogen Explosion has medium mycelium cake growth. It seems to be resistant to contamination but seems to be slow to fruit.
